This project was done in collaboration with 8 classmates for a course which asked us to develop a product addressing an issue related to sustainable design.
Because of the scale of the project, I was asked to take on the role of a project manager to ensure our team achieved a cohesive end product while still prioritizing the diverse educational needs and focuses of our team of designers.
The project is split into two phases. The first was a research and Ideation phase focused on studying an issue and creating an interactive artifact aimed at educating other groups about our topic and potential solutions.
Between phases 1 and 2, the class was encouraged to switch projects based on what they felt they would be most interested to work on. During this switch, we amassed 5 new members and went from an initial group of 4 to a group of 9.
My role as project manager involved leading the research and ideation process, coordinating group members' workloads, ensuring a cohesive visual style, and putting together final presentations.
