As the sustained investigation portion of my AP Design portfolio, the Tri Colour Series examines the compositional relationship between flesh and bone in living forms. I simplified forms using distinct and opaque shapes to represent immediately visible masses of flesh (red) and bone (yellow) in order to emphasize the tension and balance found in their relationship to one another and how they influence our perception of individuality and gesture.
